Hargeisa – (QN24) – Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi Has Backed Abdikarim Ahmed Moghe, Who Defected From The Waddani Party To Become Mayor Of Hargeisa, After Opposition Parties Disagreed Over His Mayoralty.

Abdikarim Ahmed Moghe, The Most Popular Candidate For The Hargeisa City Council And A Candidate For Mayor, Was Received At His Office By The Somaliland President Along With Other Opposition Lawmakers.

The Candidate Called On The Somaliland President This Afternoon After Opposition Parties Disagreed On His Mayoralty.

Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi, Responding To MP Moghe’s Call, Said He Stood By Him.

“The Answer To Your Call Is That We Stand By You, And We Are Ready To Work With You On Any Rights You May Have,” Said President Bihi.

The President Said The Legal Path Will Be Followed By The Ambition Of Lawmaker Abdikarim Ahmed Moghe.

Moghe Thanked The President of Somaliland For His Prompt Response To His Call.

“We Thank You For Accepting Us. The People Of Hargeisa Who Expect Us To Build A New Hargeisa Are Honored That God Has Given Them A President Who Respects And Listens,” Said Moghe.
