Mogadishu – (QN24) – The Prime Minister Of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble Today Addressed A Meeting Of The National Consultative Council And The Deputy Secretary-General Of The United Nations On The Case Of Ikran Tahlil Farah And The Resulting Political Dispute Between Him And Farmajo.

Prime Minister Roble Thanked The International Community For Supporting A Proper Investigation Into The Ikran Tahlil Case.

Roble Said At The Meeting That He Was “Deeply Saddened” By The Current Political Situation In The Country, Following A Dispute Between Him And Farmajo During The Country’s Elections.

He Pledged To Work To Prevent Tensions Between The Country’s Top Officials, And To Handle The Situation Responsibly And Consciously.

“We Are Working Hard To Consult With All Parties To Resolve The Issue Through Dialogue And in Accordance With The Division Of Constitutional Powers,” Said Prime Minister Roble.

Roble Said His Main Focus Is On Elections, And He Assures The Somali People That He Will Never Deviate From Focusing On The Country’s Elections.
