Dubai – (QN24) – The President Of The United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, 73, Has Died, According To The UAE’s WAM News Agency.

“The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Has Announced That There Will Be 40 Days Of Mourning For The Flag Half And Three Days For The Cosure Of Ministries And Agencies At The Federal, District And Private Levels.” The Agency Tweeted Today.

Sheikh Khalifa, Who Has Been Battling Illness for Several Years, Has Been Absent From Daily Activities For A Long Time, With His Brother, Abu Dhabi Heir Apparent Mohammed bin Zayed, Seen As The Leader Of Change. There Is No Word On The Person Replacing The Late President.

Sheikh Khalifa, Who Has Not Been Seen In Ceremonies And Public Squares For Many Years, Took Over From His Father And Founder Of The United Arab Emirates Sheikh Zayed in 2004.
