Mogadishu – (QN24) – The Inauguration Ceremony Of The 10th President Of The Federal Republic Of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud, Was Recently Concluded With The Participation Of Various World Leaders And Former Presidents, Former Prime Ministers And Heads Of State.

The President Who Was Inaugurated Today Said That His Government Will Be Held Accountable For Its Actions And Will Work To Decentralize The Federal Constitution, The Somaliland Talks And The Security Of The Country.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud also Elaborated on His Motto “Somalia Is A Compromise Agreement” And Said That Somalia Will Be A Friend And Partner With Any Country That Does Not Violate Somalia’s Sovereignty And Will Work For It. Somalia’s Trade Relations With The Rest Of The World.

Speaking On The Effects Of The Drought, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud Said Thousands Of Somalis Could Face Widespread Famine, And called For A Response To The Current Severe Drought In Most Parts Of Somalia.

Other Speakers At The Inauguration Ceremony Included Ethiopian Prime Minister Abi Ahmed, Who Congratulated The New President And Pledged His Support To The Somali Government.

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta Also Addressed The Ceremony And Said He Welcomed The Re-election And Inauguration Of The New Somali President, And Said He Would Work With The New President To Improve Relations Between Somalia And Kenya.

Speaking At The Event, Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh Said He Had Come With Love And brotherhood. He Said The Government Of Djibouti Stands By The Somali Government and is ready to work with it.

Also Speaking At The Ceremony Were Former Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, Who Lost The May 15, 2012 Elections In Mogadishu.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud Is Expected To Name A New Prime Minister Of Somalia Soon.
