Hargeisa – (QN24) -Abdiqani Sa’ad Hassan, The Director Of The Executive Department Of The Somaliland Human Rights Commission, Has Stated That Reports Of Mistreatment And Torture Of Prisoners Of War Captured During The Las’Anod Conflict Are False.
The Director Of The Executive Department Of The Somaliland Human Rights Commission, Abdiqani Sa’ad Hassan, Has Denied That There Are Prisoners Who Have Been Taken Or Tortured.
“There Are False Reports Circulating That Some Prisoners Were Taken To Court Or Tortured, But No One Was Taken To Court,” Sa’ad said After The Commission’s Visit To The Prisoners.
He said that the Prisoners were treated well and that Their Health Were Very Good, and Also they said that they were treated the Same As Other Prisoners.
“In General, the Prisoners told Us that the behavior of the Pirsoner Corps was the best. They told Us that Their Health condition is 100%, although some of them Complained of Allergies and We Showed Them To The Doctor,” Said Sa’ad”.
